Legalization
Temporary Residence Card in Poland
A temporary residence card is a document that allows a foreigner to legally reside in Poland for more than 3 months.
It is issued on the basis of various purposes: work, study, running a business, or family circumstances. This is the first and key step toward a stable life in Poland and further obtaining permanent residence or citizenship.
The card is valid for up to 3 years with the option of renewal.
How long does the process take?
Processing time depends on the city of submission and the correctness of document preparation.
- on average: about 6 months
- in major cities — the process may take longer
A well-prepared document package helps avoid delays.
Important to know
The residence card application must be submitted before the visa expires. Timely submission guarantees the preservation of legal status and allows you to stay in Poland until a decision is made.
If the application is submitted late after the visa expires — the stay becomes illegal, which may lead to deportation and a ban on entry to Schengen countries.
What is included in the service
- Complete document preparation and verification
- Legal support at all stages
- Communication with the immigration office on your behalf
- Representation of client's interests
- Official contract and guarantees
Permanent Residence Card in Poland
A permanent residence card is a document that grants a foreigner the right to permanent residence in Poland without the need to renew a visa or temporary residence permit.
This is a stable status that significantly expands the opportunities for living, working, and developing in Poland.
The card is issued indefinitely (the card itself is renewed every 10 years).
How long does the process take?
- on average: about 8 months
- in major cities — the process may take longer
Properly prepared documents significantly speed up the review.
What is included in the service
- Complete document preparation and verification
- Legal support at all stages

EU Resident
What does EU Resident status provide
- Indefinite right to reside in Poland
- Access to the labor market without additional permits
- Ability to relocate and work in other EU countries (under simplified conditions)
- Stable and prestigious legal status
- Confidence in the future and freedom of movement
For how long is it issued?
EU Resident status is granted indefinitely. The card itself is subject to replacement every 5 years, but the right of residence remains permanent.
When can it be obtained?
After 5 years of continuous legal residence in Poland. It is also important to have a stable income, housing, and certified knowledge of the Polish language.
How long does the process take?
- on average: about 8-12 months
- in major cities — the process may take longer
Polish Citizenship
Polish citizenship is not just a document. It is the full right to live without restrictions, work, develop, and build your future in Europe. This is the final stage of legalization, providing maximum stability and independence from any permits or deadlines.
When can citizenship be obtained?
- from 2 years — if you are married to a Polish citizen
- from 3 years — if you have permanent residence
- after 10 years of continuous legal residence in Poland
How long does the process take?
on average: up to 1 year or more
What is included in the service

- Communication with government authorities
- Representation of client's interests
Case Acceleration
If there has been no new information in your case for a long time and the review is being delayed — it doesn't mean you just have to wait. In such cases, we apply the przyspieszenia sprawy procedure — an official case acceleration.
How does it work?
- we prepare an official appeal (ponaglenie / skarga)
- we submit it to the appropriate authority
- we monitor the office's response and the further process
When is this needed?
- no response for a long time
- the case is "stuck" without progress
- review deadlines exceeded
In most cases, after submitting such an appeal, the case begins to move actively.
Case Status Check
If you don't know what stage your case is at, or whether it has been submitted at all — we will help you find out. This is especially relevant if your documents were handled by an agency or another lawyer.
What we do
- we contact the immigration office and obtain current information
- we verify whether the case is registered
- we obtain the case number
- we determine the submission and registration dates
- we determine the current stage of review
- we provide clear recommendations for next steps
Case Updates
Case Transfer
Each residence card case is reviewed according to the applicant's current place of residence.
If you changed your city of residence after submitting documents, the case must be officially transferred to another office — at the new address.
We help transfer your case according to your current data and place of residence, ensuring correct and uninterrupted processing.
Employer Change
A work-based residence card is issued for a specific employer — meaning the company where you are officially employed.
If after receiving the card you change jobs or resign, you have 15 days to notify the foreigners' affairs office.
Failure to fulfill this obligation may result in the cancellation of your residence card.
We help properly notify about the employer change and support the process to avoid risks and problems with legal stay.
Decision Change (zmiana decyzji)
Each work-based residence card is issued for a specific employer. If after receiving the card you change jobs, you have 15 days to mandatorily notify the Immigration Office about the employer change.
Within this period, you must:
- submit an application for a new residence card
- or submit a request for a decision change (changing employer data to a new one)
If this is not done — your residence card may be cancelled, and your residence status will be at risk.
We fully support this process:
- we notify the office about the job change or termination
- we prepare all necessary documents
- we apply for a new residence card or decision change
- we manage the case until a result is obtained
Fingerprint Rescheduling
During the case review, the office may summon you for fingerprinting. If this deadline was missed — the case may be suspended or even closed.
What we do
- we contact the immigration office
- we submit the appropriate appeal to restore the deadline
- we justify the reason for missing the appointment
- we secure a new appointment date
Why this is important
- the case may be left without consideration
- the legalization process stops
- the stay may become illegal
Legal Assistance
Appeal Against Refusal
Received a refusal for pobyt czasowy? It's unpleasant, but it's not the end. You have the right to appeal the decision and change the situation.
An appeal (odwołanie) is an official request in which you ask to review the office's decision. The case is reviewed by another authority — Szef Urzędu do Spraw Cudzoziemców.
How much time do you have
You have 14 days from the moment of receiving the decision. If you miss this deadline, the appeal may not be accepted.
We handle the case to completion
- analysis of refusal reasons
- preparation of the appeal
- collection and preparation of documents
- communication with the office
- support through the second instance decision
Administrative Cases for Foreigners
We support clients in cases related to government decisions. We help appeal refusals, protect rights, and achieve legal status.
Most commonly these include:
- refusal of pobyt czasowy or stały
- annulment of residence permit
- deportation or entry ban
- inaction by the office
What we do
- we analyze the decision or situation
- we prepare an appeal (odwołanie)
- we file complaints about the inaction of authorities
- we prepare court complaints
- we support the case at all stages
Deportation Cancellation
Received a deportation order or entry ban to Poland or the Schengen zone? In many cases, this decision can be appealed or cancelled.
Cancellation or reduction of the ban is possible if:
- the decision was made with violations
- new circumstances have emerged
- there are important personal reasons (work, family, education)
- the deportation is disproportionate to the situation
We handle the case to completion
- analysis of the decision and documents
- assessment of chances
- preparation of applications and appeals
- communication with authorities
- full case support
Criminal Record Certificate
In Poland, this is a document from the Krajowy Rejestr Karny (KRK) that confirms a person has no criminal record.
What is it needed for?
- obtaining a Polish visa (especially for work or study)
- residence card (temporary or permanent)
- employment
- starting a business or obtaining licenses
- working with children, finances, security
What are the options?
1. Basic certificate — without apostille, without translation. Suitable for submission within Poland.
2. Certificate + apostille + translation — full package for official use abroad.
